Sierra Pacific Orthopedics is Hiring an Imaging Aide (Xray Runner) Near Fresno, CA
Job Summary: Transports patients between the radiology department and the physicians' offices while assisting with the functions of the radiology department.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to prioritize work flow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with staff, physicians and patients
- High level of computer proficiency
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to walk for a majority of the day and use the stairs
- Goals to become an Xray Tech or work in medical imaging
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department
- Verifying patient information
- Uploading images to CD-ROMs for patients
- Inputting patient information into the computer system
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
